1. Krishna is an avatar of Lord Vishnu. Every sacred text of Hinduism explains this fact. Lord Vishnu took human form and lived in earth, solving problems as a human along with humans.
2.Krishna was born in Dwapara Yuga and he died after fulfilling his Karma. There is no single instance in which Krishna appear anywhere before his birth. He is not even mentioned in Ramayana. Lord Vishnu is timeless but not Krishna. He lived his life like a human and died after getting shot by an arrow.
3.Krishna worshiped Lord Shiva. As Lord Vishnu is an avid devotee of Lord Shiva, his avatars were all worshipers of Shiva as well. Parasurama being more prominent.
4.Krishna is not mentioned in the Vedas. No single reference of him. Krishna was born after the origin of Vedas, so obviously he was not indicated in them.
5.Krishna is one of 10 Avatars of Vishnu. No one before Krishna's birth worshiped him.
6.Radha is not mentioned in any of the classical puranas except the scriptures created by the gaudiya vaishnava cult. Not even Srimad Bhagavatam contain any reference of Radha. She is a literary character originated in the Common Era.
7.Lord Kalki is the final avatar of Vishnu. Not Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. While Kalki is mentioned in the Puranas, there are no references of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in any of the Puranas or Vedas. His teachings are anti-Vedic.
Nothing else need to be said....

@ Yadu Vijayakrishnan : TRUE Words.. Rightly Explained. Thank You For The Detailed Information. Hope It Serves As A Guide For Non- Believers.
ReplyDeletei tell u more that krishna worship shiva to get son as a boon search on this topic
ReplyDeleteWhat about the Hare Krishna maha mantra? I do not follow Iskcon teachings any more but I am still attached to this mantra. Is it a genuine mantra leading us to God or is it another bogus concoction by the Iskcon bogus cult? If so, what other mantra can you recommend instead of Hare Krishna? I am also chanting Om Namo Narayanaya...
ReplyDeleteYes, it is a genuine mantra from our sacred texts. The quality of this mantra is that it is very easy to learn comparing to other mantras which contains tough vocabularies and is difficult to chant correctly without pronouncing it wrong.
DeleteHowever, until I became familiar with iskcon, the chant I heard was rather "Hare Ram Hare Ram..." in which Ram comes first instead of Krishna. When consulted with others from different parts of India, they all shared the same experience.
Thank you. Yes, the original version is chanted by "hare rama" first. Swami Shivananda's yoga school also chants this mantra that way...
DeleteI never followed and will never follow ISKCON, but I still get attached to the version sung by Beatles.
ReplyDeleteI am not a follower of Iskcon but my Grandmother told me and I have Seen About Chaitanya Avtaar In Atharva Ved Chaitanya Upanishad in which coming of lord Chaitanya is Witten very clearly,in Chhandagya Upanishad there are some shlokas I have seen also which directly tells thatt the Supreme God will come in Mayapur and his body colour will be of molten gold and his name will be Chaitanya or Nemai or Gauranga,In Mundak upanishad also it is given that by seeing that molten gold colour bodied god saints become happy and he is the father of brahma.

DeleteSo, in that case, you're saying Kalki is not an avatar of Vishnu? :D
Interesting comments Yadu. Your blog stops here? Do share your blog links or fb so we can continue reading. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteShare your other blog links if you hv. Tx
ReplyDeleteDear Yadu, you are absolutely right regarding ISKON, but Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's teachings are not anti vedic. Mahaprabhu has always been misunderstood by all. Firstly, Mahaprabhu's era of existence happens to be during the Bhakti Cult period, next he was solely responsible for saving Sanatan religion of the eastern India from the Islamic aggression at that time, next he never professed the concept of ISKON, instead he professed the Srinivasan Vaishnavaism by modulating the same in the Eastern Indian culture. And lastly he tried to spread the teachings of GEETA infused with Vedanta, which ultimately led to his early demise.
ReplyDeletek well people have their own right to practice their own religious beliefs and whatnot, it's great that you are a follower of Shiva but no need to post comments on people who follow Krishna. Let's just say both are right in their own ways and walk away from that touchy issue...
ReplyDeleteNo problem with other practices and philosophies but the problem is Iskcon distorts the very Hindu scriptures and texts as well. Following are the statements by Iskcon
Delete1.Krishna is the Supreme Personality Godhead all other Gods are demigods.
2.Only Krishna can give salvation or Moksha no other Gods can give Moksha.
3.Swami Vivekananda is a rascal.
4.Scientists do not have a proper fund of knowledge.
All of the above are clear cut statements from Iskcon, only Krishna can give you salvation no one else can is like Christians tellings only Jesus can give you salvation. This is called fanatism, all fanatism should be discouraged no matter what..
Mr Yadu, I am happy that you have put up this blog, this doesn't seem like a blog which simply criticizes Iskcon but actually is bringing an authentic outlook of Sanatana Dharma.
it makes me angry when dey call lord shiva ..demi god....infact sanatana dharma do say that all the paths reach de same destination ...den y dis superiority notion....one f de prime characterstics of a devotee is humility...like shri BAJRANG BALI maharaj....jai shree ram jai mahadev
ReplyDeletehai yadu,
ReplyDeletewell explained with detailed information. Even I have studied 'Bhagavatam' and ISKON's book 'Devadidev - Sri Krishna.....' . In the books of ISKON they always mentioned that Lord Vishnu is one of the incarnation of Lord Krishna.
From my childhood - my parents, my elders, teachers.. all told that Krishna is one of the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Even I have known that from the purana 'Bhagavatam'. Then why these ISKON people are saying like this... and misleading the people with false info.
These ISKON is again igniting the Vaishnava and Shaiva quarrels.
Already we lost so many valuable things, valuable scriptures, our own significance etc.. before 5 to 10 centuries due to these type of quarrels. Those who worships Lord Shiva or Lord Vishnu or Lord Krishna or Lord Rama only... automatically they all are worshipping all Gods. Because GOD is unique....
dear bro... your blog is good... thanks for providing this type of info...
om namah shivaya, om namo narayanaya,
sri rama jaya rama jaya jaya rama
'Happy Maha Shivaratri' bro
Hi all...
ReplyDeleteI can answer few questions which author has...
Do not treat me as ISKCON candidate...
1. Related to Krishna Supremacy.. It is good that author believes in 18 puranas and stated that there is no reference of krishna in any of that.. [!!Important!! Author is wrong here]
Reference: Brahma Vaivarta Purana chapter 2 states that Krishna created Vishnu, Siva and Brahma..
Link is from authorized page Kanchi Kamakoti peetadhipati website
http://www.kamakoti.org/kamakoti/brahma%20vaivartha/bookview.php?chapnum=2&PHPSESSID=ae3536a3dca822480253e8e805e59a9c
Wikipedia reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brahma_Vaivarta_Purana
2. In one of the comment they have stated that if "Chaytanya Maha Prabhu is an avatar of vishnu.. then acccording to dashavatara is kalki not an avatar of vishnu???"
[!!Important!! Again author is wrong] - So do you mean to say Lord Balaji is not an avatar of vishnu??? ok if so then according to dashavatara is kalki not an avatar of vishnu???
[To author]: Before you say anything think twice because blog will affect mindset of people who are in soul searching and god searching...
here is answer for above point: "Varying lists of avatars of Vishnu appear in Hindu scriptures, including the ten Dashavatara of the Garuda Purana and the twenty-two avatars in the Bhagavata Purana, though the latter adds that the incarnations of Vishnu are innumerable.[6]"
3. Evidences from hindu scriptures that Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is an avatar of Vishnu!!
[References]:
In the Devi Purana we find the following statement:
nama-siddhanta-sampatti
prakashana-parayanah
kvacit sri-krishna-chaitanya-
nama loke bhavishyati
"The Lord will again appear in this world. His name will be Sri Krishna Chaitanya and He will spread the chanting of the Lord's Holy Names.
Sri Chaitanya perfectly illuminated the glories of the nama-siddhanta as predicted in this verse.
In the Nrisimha Purana it is mentioned:
satye daitya-kuladhi-nasha-samaye simhordhva-martyakritis
tretayam dasa-kandharam paribhavan rameti namakritih
gopalan paripalayan vraja-pure bharam haran dvapare
gaurangah priya-kirtanah kali-yuge caitanya-nama prabhuh
"The Supreme Lord, who in the Satya-yuga appeared as a half-man half-lion to cure a terrible disease that had ravaged the daityas, and who in Treta-yuga appeared as Rama, a person who defeated the ten-headed Ravana , and who in Dvapara-yuga removed the earth's burden and protected the gopa people of Vraja-pura, will appear again in the Kali-yuga. His form will be golden, He will delight in chanting the Lord's Holy Names, and His name will be Chaitanya."
There are many many more references..
[To Author] => Do not make foolish statements before you know anything.. here the question should not be "Is Shiva great or Vishnu or Krishna" great.. The question should be Who is supremene according to hindu scriptures and the discussion should happen on that!!
